MEET GABRIELLE PFEFFER, LCSW
Gabrielle Pfeffer, LCSW is a Clinical Social Worker who received her Master of Social Work Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2019. Gabrielle is registered with the Florida Department of Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. Gabrielle is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers and has worked with the association in advocating for legislation to positively impact the people of Southwest Florida.
Gabrielle’s clinical experience includes providing psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and children in individual, couple, family and group settings. Gabrielle's therapeutic experience has included pregnancy loss and bereavement, pregnancy after loss, perinatal mood disorders, supporting fertility journeys, birth trauma, relationship dynamics throughout the parenting journey, parenting children with mental health disorders and behavioral disturbances, and parenting through familial transitions. Gabrielle has provided parent education utilizing the Nurturing Parenting curriculum focusing on child abuse prevention and optimizing the parent-child relationship.
Gabrielle also has experience providing psychotherapy to couples including issues surrounding disconnection, co-dependency, trust repair, physical & mental health diagnoses, navigating personality disorders, and deepening the love connection. Gabrielle is Level 1 Gottman Method trained.

Gabrielle also has experience as a Medical Social Worker at HealthPark Medical Center and Golisano Children’s Hospital, in Fort Myers, FL. In this position, Gabrielle has provided services to adults, children, and families experiencing medical complications on obstetrics, intensive care, progressive care, medical surgical, cardiac units, neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, pediatric medical surgical and emergency units.

Gabrielle utilizes an eclectic therapeutic approach, frequently calling upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Existential Therapy, with the integration of mindfulness practices.
